For most cruisers this is a half-day port, and that is about right. It is genuinely charming without overstaying its welcome. If your ship is here for four hours, you will leave satisfied. If you have six or more hours, plan a longer lunch and a slower pace rather than trying to manufacture extra activities that don't really exist here.
