About World Traveller

World Traveller is a 2022-built Explorer Class expedition yacht operated by Atlas Ocean Voyages. Designed and built at West Sea in Portugal, the small ship combines polar-capable features with a yacht-style layout of six guest decks and 100 suites. Public spaces include an observation lounge, open bridge, pool area, lounges, fitness center and spa. The vessel is used for expedition and cultural-style cruising, with onboard facilities designed to support small-group exploration as well as relaxed time at sea.

World Traveller is an Ice Class 1B expedition vessel with dynamic positioning and an open bridge. Its small scale—198 guests in 100 suites—supports a more intimate onboard setting.

Dining

The ship’s dining lineup includes the main restaurant, 7AFT Grill, Paula’s Pantry café, and afternoon tea at The Dome. Some outdoor dining arrangements depend on voyage type and weather.

Entertainment

The Dome observation lounge, Atlas Lounge, Zephyr Lounge and theater are among the principal social and presentation spaces. On polar expeditions, programming includes destination briefings and enrichment lectures.

Staterooms & suites

The ship has 100 suites across Reserve, Concierge and Signature collections. Accommodation types include ocean-view, veranda and larger Navigator, Discovery and Journey suites; selected suites accommodate a third guest.

For families

Atlas permits children from 12 months on Epicurean and Cultural Expeditions and from age eight on Polar Expeditions. World Traveller has selected suite categories that can accommodate a third guest.

Pools, spa & wellness

Facilities include a fitness center and SeaSpa with sauna. The top-deck area includes a pool, hot tubs and jogging track.

Environmental features

The shipyard describes the expedition-vessel design as fitted with water and waste-treatment systems. Dynamic positioning can reduce the need to anchor and thereby limit seabed disturbance.
