Planned public spaces include six zones, with music-led Studio 724 and The Festival joining the Grand Central atrium. Studio 724 is designed as a two-deck multimedia venue with synchronized sound, lighting and animation.

About Carnival Festivale
Carnival Festivale is Carnival Cruise Line’s fourth Excel-class ship, under construction at Meyer Werft in Papenburg for planned 2027 entry into service. The LNG-powered ship is a new vessel, not the former Carnival Festivale of the 1970s. Its planned design centers on music-themed social spaces and family activities, alongside familiar Carnival venues. Carnival lists 5,356 guests at double occupancy and 1,768 team members; final operational specifications remain subject to completion and delivery.

Announced venues include Bonsai Sushi, Bonsai Teppanyaki, Big Chicken, Pizza Palooza, Rhythm & Rolls Deli, JavaBlue Café and Swirls. The Festival is planned to combine casual food outlets with Festival Grounds Coffee & Bar.
Entertainment
Grand Central is planned as a three-deck live-entertainment hub with Center Stage. Other announced venues include Limelight Lounge, Piano Bar 88, Punchliner Comedy Club, Alchemy Bar and the music-focused Studio 724.
For families
Sunsation Point is planned as an open-air family activity area with Carnival WaterWorks Ultra and the SunSoaker and Turning Tides raft rides.
Environmental features
Meyer Werft states that Carnival Festivale will use liquefied-natural-gas propulsion.
