About Celebrity Flora

Celebrity Flora is a purpose-built, 100-guest expedition vessel for the Galápagos. Delivered in 2019 by Shipyard De Hoop, the all-suite ship combines a notably intimate scale with outward-facing accommodations and public lounges designed around wildlife viewing. Certified Galápagos National Park naturalists guide the onboard program, while the stern marina supports transfers by rigid inflatable boat. Its dynamic-positioning system can hold the vessel on station without anchoring, an important feature for sensitive seabed areas. This is a destination-focused small-ship experience rather than a conventional large-resort cruise.

Onboard Experience

Signature highlights

The ship’s small capacity, all-suite layout, stern marina, naturalist-led programming, glass-wrapped Observatory, and outdoor Vista lounge are central features. Dynamic positioning and zero-speed stabilization support station-keeping and comfort.

Dining

Seaside Restaurant serves the main breakfast, lunch, and dinner service. Ocean Grill provides a more casual setting with panoramic views and outdoor dinner service.

Entertainment

The Discovery Lounge hosts naturalist presentations and excursion briefings. A dedicated stargazing platform and guided astronomy sessions are also provided.

Staterooms & suites

All 50 guest accommodations are suites, with outward-facing layouts; most use Infinite Veranda or conventional veranda designs. Suite amenities include automation, a personal suite attendant, binoculars, and in-suite filtered drinking water.

Environmental features

Dynamic positioning reduces the need to anchor, helping avoid seabed disturbance. The vessel also has solar panels, LED lighting, low-emissivity glazing, an enhanced sewage-treatment plant, and SCR-equipped diesel generators to reduce NOx emissions.
