About Celebrity Xcel
Celebrity Xcel is the fifth Edge-class ship for Celebrity Cruises, built by Chantiers de l’Atlantique and delivered in 2025. The Malta-registered vessel combines the Edge Series’ outward-facing design with the Magic Carpet platform, Rooftop Garden, Grand Plaza, and The Retreat suite complex. Its Xcel-specific venues include The Bazaar, a destination-themed venue; Bora, an open-air Mediterranean restaurant; Attic at The Club; and an expanded spa. Attic at The Club provides arcade games, billiards, darts, and private-group space in The Annex. The ship also has the main theatre, The Club, Grand Plaza entertainment, poolside events, and destination-themed Bazaar festivals.

Accommodation categories include inside, ocean-view, veranda, Infinite Veranda, Concierge Class, AquaClass, solo Infinite Veranda rooms, and suites in The Retreat. Nearly all staterooms and suites have king-size beds; Infinite Veranda rooms use a powered window to open the living area to fresh air.

Celebrity offers Camp at Sea and teen programming for ages 3–17. Family groups can choose connecting-room configurations, and stateroom categories accommodate up to four guests.
Pools, spa & wellness
The Spa includes more than 120 listed treatments, the SEA Thermal Suite, a Hydra Room water-therapy space, an outdoor Vitamin D Deck, and an expanded salon. AquaClass guests receive spa-oriented room features and Thermal Suite access.

Celebrity Xcel was specified with Wärtsilä flexible-fuel engines and methanol-ready fuel storage and delivery systems, allowing use of three fuel types including methanol. This is fuel-flexibility infrastructure, not confirmation that the vessel operates on methanol for every sailing.
