Emerald Radiance is Emerald Cruises’ intimate Douro River Star-Ship, purpose-built for Portugal’s winding waterways. Carrying up to 112 guests in 56 cabins, the ship offers a quieter boutique experience centered on panoramic river views and relaxed social spaces. Passenger highlights include the Horizon Bar & Lounge, Reflections Restaurant, Sky Barbecue, fitness and wellness facilities, and an alfresco Serenity Pool on the Sun Deck. Its exclusive Riverview Suites add floor-to-ceiling windows and Emerald’s innovative balcony system.
Designed specifically for the Douro River, Emerald Radiance combines a small-ship atmosphere with contemporary public spaces, panoramic accommodation, and an alfresco Serenity Pool. The ship has four named passenger decks: Riviera, Vista, Horizon, and Sun.
Reflections Restaurant provides the principal breakfast, lunch, and dinner venue, while Sky Barbecue offers an informal outdoor dining option. The Terrace supports alfresco dining and refreshments.
The Horizon Bar & Lounge is the principal social venue, with open seating for relaxing and meeting fellow guests. Emerald Radiance does not have the indoor pool-to-cinema arrangement found on some other Emerald Star-Ships.
The ship has 56 cabins comprising 10 Emerald Staterooms and 46 suites. Accommodation includes Panorama Balcony Suites, an Owner’s One-Bedroom Suite, and two exclusive 300-square-foot Riverview Suites with floor-to-ceiling windows and Emerald’s balcony system.
The Sun Deck features an alfresco Serenity Pool, while the Riviera Deck includes fitness and wellness facilities. Emerald Radiance replaces the indoor heated pool found on many sister Star-Ships with this spa-style outdoor pool.
