Grundsund is a tiny working fishing village on Sweden's west coast (Bohuslän region), approximately 100 km north of Gothenburg. The village itself—population under 1,000—has a handful of red wooden buildings, a functioning harbor, and immediate access to forested coastline and rocky shores. Outside the Terminal

You exit the pier directly into a quiet residential-industrial area with a few fishing sheds, parked boats, and modest homes. There is no formal terminal building or queue; the transition is abrupt and low-key. Turn toward the sound of water or follow locals and you'll reach the small village center (5–10 minutes on foot) with a handful of shops, a café, and the harbor. The vibe is immediately Nordic—calm, orderly, no hustle.
