About MS Fram
MS Fram is a compact Norwegian-flagged expedition ship purpose-built for polar exploration. Operated by HX Expeditions, she combines an ice-strengthened hull with a relaxed Nordic interior, allowing guests to experience Arctic and Antarctic scenery from a highly maneuverable platform. The ship carries up to 200 guests and emphasizes wildlife viewing, shore landings, lectures, and science-led discovery rather than large-ship entertainment. A 2025 refurbishment refreshed selected cabins, suites, dining areas, crew spaces, and the onboard Science Centre.

Aune is the main dining room, while Lindstrøm provides Scandinavian-inspired à la carte cuisine; suite guests receive complimentary Lindstrøm dining. An outdoor barbecue is also available.

The 128 cabins include Polar Inside and Outside cabins, Arctic Superior cabins, Expedition Suites, and Grand Suites. Selected suites have larger living areas and private balconies.
For families
MS Fram is primarily designed for adult-oriented expedition travel and does not offer the extensive children's facilities found on mainstream family cruise ships.
Pools, spa & wellness
Facilities include a panoramic fitness room, two outdoor hot tubs, and a top-deck sauna with views over the surrounding scenery.
Accessibility
Accessible outside cabins are available, including designated SD cabins with wheelchair-friendly features; availability should be confirmed before booking.
