Is It Safe?

Lovango Cay is well-managed and secure. The island is staffed by cruise line personnel, lifeguards are usually on duty during peak hours, and petty crime is virtually non-existent in this controlled environment. Sunburn and dehydration are the primary risks; bring sunscreen and drink water frequently. Reef hazards exist if you snorkel (wear shoes, avoid touching coral).
