Norwegian Jewel is the lead ship of Norwegian Cruise Line’s four-vessel Jewel Class. Built by MEYER WERFT and delivered in 2005, it is a medium-sized ship designed around flexible Freestyle Cruising, with nearly 1,200 staterooms, multiple restaurants, lounges, pools and entertainment venues. The ship includes The Haven suite complex and was refurbished in 2025. Its Panamax dimensions allow access to destinations that larger ships cannot reach, including itineraries involving the original Panama Canal locks.

The 1,190-stateroom inventory includes inside, oceanview, balcony and club balcony categories, plus suites and The Haven accommodations. Larger options include family villas, courtyard penthouses and multi-bedroom Garden Villas.
Family amenities include Splash Academy youth programming, a dedicated children’s pool, video arcade facilities and family stateroom options, including connecting rooms and two-bedroom villas.
Mandara Spa and Salon provides massages, facials and beauty treatments, while the ship also features a fitness center, pools, hot tubs, jogging or walking areas and sports courts.
NCL provides accessible staterooms and accessible public facilities across its fleet, including wider doors, roll-in showers, shower benches, handrails and pool lifts. Availability and tender or shore-excursion access should be confirmed with NCL before sailing.
