Royal Princess is the lead ship of Princess Cruises’ Royal Class and entered service in 2013. The large, contemporary vessel combines a European-style Piazza atrium with extensive outdoor spaces, a SeaWalk, multiple pools, Broadway-style productions, and a broad choice of dining. With 1,780 cabins, including many balcony rooms, it is designed for couples, families, and multigenerational travelers. The ship offers 1,780 cabins: suites, mini-suites, deluxe balcony cabins, standard balcony cabins, and interior cabins. Princess lists 1,438 outside cabins and 342 inside cabins.
Dedicated youth spaces include The Treehouse for ages 3–7, The Lodge for ages 8–12, and The Beach House for ages 13–17, alongside pools and family-friendly outdoor activities.

Princess provides accessible staterooms and accessible routes to major public areas, including dining rooms, theaters, lounges, the spa, Piazza, casino, and guest services. Accessible cabins may include wider doorways, roll-in or transfer showers, grab bars, and fold-down shower seats.
The ship was designed with energy-saving features and regulatory compliance intended to reduce emissions and support operation in environmentally sensitive cruising regions.
