Onboard Experience

Signature highlights

The ship features the Category 6 waterpark, the AquaDome, Crown’s Edge, the suspended-infinity Hideaway Pool, Royal Bay Pool, Surfside family neighborhood, and 20 total decks including 18 guest decks.

Dining

Dining spans more than 40 restaurants, cafés, bars, and lounges, including family-focused venues, specialty restaurants, casual poolside options, and Royal Caribbean staples such as Windjammer and Sorrento’s.

Entertainment

Entertainment includes AquaTheater productions, ice shows and skating at Absolute Zero, Broadway-style and original theater productions, live music, karaoke, comedy, nightlife, and the Royal Escape Room.

Staterooms & suites

The ship has 2,805 staterooms across interior, ocean-view, balcony, family, and suite categories, including Royal Caribbean’s Infinite Balcony and neighborhood-view accommodation concepts.

For families

Surfside is designed for young families, with splash areas, family pools, play spaces, Adventure Ocean programming, and nearby family dining. Category 6, pools, mini-golf, climbing, and other attractions broaden the appeal to older children and teenagers.

Pools, spa & wellness

Wellness facilities include the Vitality Spa and Fitness Center, a full gym, exercise classes, treatment rooms, a salon, adults-oriented pool areas, and outdoor walking and activity spaces.

Accessibility

Royal Caribbean provides accessible stateroom categories and accessible public facilities, with ship-specific accessibility arrangements and equipment subject to availability and booking requirements.

Environmental features

Icon of the Seas uses dual-fuel engines capable of operating on liquefied natural gas and incorporates energy-efficiency, waste-management, and air-emissions-reduction systems. LNG reduces several local air pollutants but does not eliminate greenhouse-gas emissions.
