About Viking Vega
Viking Vega is a planned 2028 addition to Viking Ocean Cruises’ small-ship fleet. The 54,300-gross-ton vessel is designed for 998 guests in 499 all-veranda staterooms, with a 784-foot length and 101-foot beam. Its Scandinavian-inspired design emphasizes light-filled public spaces, outdoor dining, destination-focused enrichment and access to ports that are less practical for larger ships. As of September 9, 2026, Vega remains pre-delivery and is not yet in passenger service.
