Signature highlights
The ship features Viking’s streamlined Longship design, a panoramic Aquavit Terrace & Lounge, floor-to-ceiling windows in major public areas, a Sun Deck with 360-degree views, a walking track, shaded seating, herb garden and putting green.
Dining
Dining includes the main restaurant and the indoor/outdoor Aquavit Terrace, which supports open-air dining and scenic viewing at the bow.
Entertainment
Onboard amenities include a lounge and bar, library, shop, Wi-Fi, flat-screen televisions with onboard programming, and scenic viewing areas rather than large-scale theatrical entertainment.
Staterooms & suites
There are 95 outside staterooms: 25 Standard Staterooms, 22 French Balcony Staterooms, 39 Veranda Staterooms, 7 Veranda Suites and 2 Explorer Suites. Suites provide separate living and sleeping areas.
For families
Viking Baldur is an adults-focused river ship and does not advertise dedicated children’s clubs, waterslides or other family-programming facilities.
Pools, spa & wellness
The Sun Deck includes a walking track and open-air seating. No dedicated spa or fitness center is identified on the current operator ship page.
Accessibility
An elevator connects the Middle and Upper Decks; the operator notes that categories E and F do not have elevator access.
Environmental features
The ship uses ecologically friendly hybrid engines designed to reduce vibration. Its Sun Deck also includes solar panels and an organic herb garden.
