Viking Sobek is a purpose-built Nile river ship with 41 outside staterooms for up to 82 guests. Its compact design emphasizes panoramic river views, Scandinavian-inspired interiors, a pool and sun deck, indoor-outdoor Aquavit Terrace, lounge and bar, restaurant, library, and onboard shop. The ship is designed for Viking’s Pharaohs & Pyramids program and is an identical sister ship to Viking Aton, Viking Osiris, and Viking Hathor.

Viking does not market dedicated children’s facilities on this Nile ship; the experience is oriented toward adult cultural and sightseeing travel.
