If you want shopping, museums, or serious exploration, look elsewhere; if you want sea and sand with minimal effort, this is it.

The beachfront is immediately obvious—umbrella-shaded seating, patrolled swimming flags, families with children. Noise is low; the atmosphere is sleepy and summery. Expect a low-key seaside town, not a buzzing port.
