Le Soléal is a small luxury expedition ship designed for intimate cruising and access to remote destinations. Delivered by Fincantieri in 2013, it combines yacht-like scale with ice-strengthened capability, French-influenced dining and 132 sea-view staterooms and suites. PONANT currently lists capacity for 264 guests and 145 crew, supporting a high staff-to-guest ratio.
The ship belongs to PONANT’s Le Boréal-class fleet and is suited to polar and expedition cruising. Its compact 142.1-metre profile, shallow draft and ice class 1C certification support access to destinations unsuitable for larger cruise ships.
