Is It Safe?

Poreč is very safe and well-policed. Petty theft is rare; the town is quiet and family-friendly even in the evening. Street lighting is adequate in the Old Town and around the harbor. Standard precautions apply: keep valuables secure and avoid displaying expensive items. The main annoyance in peak summer is crowding and blocked narrow streets during midday; morning or late afternoon visits are more pleasant. No neighborhoods to avoid for cruise passengers.

Accessibility & Walkability

The Old Town is mostly flat and walkable, with narrow cobblestone streets that can be challenging for wheelchairs or mobility aids. Outside the Terminal
