About Viking Eldir
Viking Eldir is a newly delivered Viking Longship designed for 190 guests on European river cruises. The 135-meter ship operates on the Rhine, Main and Danube and combines Viking’s Scandinavian-inspired interiors with an indoor-outdoor Aquavit Terrace, panoramic Sun Deck, herb garden, walking track and solar panels. Its accommodation comprises 95 outside staterooms, including standard, French balcony, veranda and suite categories. The vessel also uses a hybrid diesel-electric and battery system intended to reduce fuel consumption and smooth peak power demand.
