EXPLORA IV is a planned 2027 luxury ship from Explora Journeys and the second LNG-powered vessel in the brand’s fleet. Its 461 ocean-front suites, generous public areas, heated pools, destination-focused dining and relaxed yacht-style design are intended to create a spacious, residential feel rather than a conventional large-ship atmosphere.

Seven restaurants are listed by the operator, with signature venues including Sakura, Fil Rouge, Med Yacht Club, Marble & Co. Grill, Crema Café, The Emporium Marketplace and Anthology. EXPLORA IV also adds Shore Club on 11, The Chef’s Table and The Cellar.
Public spaces include the Explora Lounge, Journeys Lounge, casino, Galleria d’Arte, outdoor cigar lounge, whisky bar and destination-oriented enrichment spaces. The ship emphasizes informal, resort-style socializing over large-scale amusement attractions.
The ship has 461 suites, all with ocean views and private outdoor space. Categories range from Ocean Terrace Suites and Ocean Grand Terrace Suites to Penthouses, Residences and the Owner’s Residence.
The ship includes interconnecting suites and accommodations that can accept children in selected categories. The operator’s suite guide lists flexible configurations for families, including sofa beds and selected residences with space for children.
Ocean Wellness – The Spa includes a hydrotherapy pool, thermal facilities, treatment rooms, fitness spaces and outdoor relaxation areas. The ship also has a weather-protected heated pool, whirlpools and an outdoor running and exercise area.
The operator lists accessible suite options with roll-in showers, grab bars, lowered fixtures, accessible doorways and equipment for guests with hearing impairments.
EXPLORA IV is described by Explora Journeys as an LNG-powered ship, with shore-power connectivity and systems intended to reduce emissions and underwater noise. The operator positions LNG as part of its broader marine decarbonisation program.
