Seabourn Encore is a 600-guest ultra-luxury ship designed around spacious, ocean-front suites, all with private verandas. Built by Fincantieri and delivered in 2016, she combines an intimate small-ship atmosphere with multiple restaurants, a central Seabourn Square, pools, a marina platform, spa and fitness facilities, and live entertainment. Her 300-suite layout, open-seating dining and nearly one-to-one guest-to-crew service model make her especially suited to travelers seeking relaxed, highly personalized cruising rather than large-resort amenities.
The ship offers 300 suites, all with private verandas, plus Seabourn Square, two outdoor pools, a watersports marina, a sun terrace and multiple lounges. Its design emphasizes intimate public spaces and personalized service.
Dining includes The Restaurant, The Colonnade, The Patio, Earth & Ocean, in-suite dining and a dedicated Sushi restaurant available on Encore. The Colonnade provides indoor/outdoor meals with regionally themed dinners.
The Club provides live music, cocktails and dancing, while the ship also offers enrichment activities, evening performances, a casino, a card room and Seabourn’s signature Caviar in the Surf experience on suitable calls.
All 300 passenger cabins are suites with ocean views and private verandas. Categories include Veranda, Penthouse, Penthouse Spa, Wintergarden, Signature and Owner’s suites.
Encore is oriented toward adults and luxury travelers rather than family resort-style cruising. Its pool areas, watersports marina and flexible lounge spaces provide casual activities, but dedicated children’s facilities are not a primary feature.
The ship includes The Spa at Seabourn, an ocean-view fitness center and Motion Studio, along with outdoor pools, whirlpools, sun terraces and relaxation areas.
Seabourn provides designated accessible suites and accessible routes for Encore, including suites with transfer showers and a roll-in shower configuration. Guests are advised to coordinate accessibility needs with the line before sailing.
Fincantieri describes Encore as incorporating energy-efficiency measures, optimized hydrodynamics and technologies intended to reduce environmental impact. The ship uses a diesel-electric propulsion system with four Wärtsilä generators.
